Botanics eye cream review

Maybe by the title, I know what you might be thinking; you're 15! Who needs an eye cream at that age! Well, I do. I have contacts lenses and and anyone who wears eye contacts knows that putting them in means a lot of pulling at the eye, and for me, at least, that is just asking for premature wrinkles. As a personal preference, I would really rather not have crows feet by the time I'm 20 and so I have taken it upon myself to try and find a good eye cream to prevent any kind of wrinkles forming. Some may call it irrational, I call it being prepared.

The problem was, however, I found it difficult trying to find the best product. And with a limited bank account, I did not have the time nor the money to spend on different eye creams to see which one suited me the best. So when Reviews.com got in touch with me to tell me about all of their guide to  the best different kinds of eye creams, I was one happy bunny.
The Best Eye Cream is a ranking of the best eye creams (haha) that has been researched  through analysing ingredients, consulting cosmetics and testing numerous eye creams and ranked the best ones on the site for you to see what the best cream will be for you (e.g focusing on wrinkles, puffy eyes etc). The best pat is, the prices of the products are right next to them so you will be able to see what is in your price range. So if my (fabulous) eye cream isn't quite what you looking for, the Eye cream review guide will show you other options which might take your fancy.

The eye cream that I was going to buy was the Botanics Youth Hydrating eye Serum, which was the winning eye cream on the guide, however my terrible eyesight led me to misread the label and I picked up the Botanics Triple Age Renewal Hydrating eye serum instead (well done Imi) which I have found great as well.

The Triple Age Renewal is infused with Purple Orchid extracts. It is a formula designed to hydrate the eye area, to reduce and prevent wrinkles. I have been using it every morning and evening after cleansing and has left my eyes feeling very hydrated and smooth. The price is also super affordable and, because of the dense formula, you only need a small amount and will last you quite a while.

I'm really loving this eye cream at the moment but again, if the fear of wrinkles hasn't quite gotten to you yet (like any other sane teenager) but you would like to find a good eye cream, check out the Eye Cream Review guide- I promise that you won't be disappointed!

Hope this helps,

Primark's Disney Collection.

I'm sure by now, everyone and their mothers has seen the endless amounts of Disney being stacked up on Primark's shelves. This collection has spread throughout the stores, from socks, to pyjamas, to homeware, it seems as though no part of Primark has escaped the gift of Disney characters being bestowed upon them. And I, for one, am living for it. Ability to wear all off my favourite movies? Hell yes! I recently had a rather large splurge on the collection from Primark and am so excited to show you the kind of things you can get:

How to get better and clearer skin

Having a good complexion is (understandably) desired by many. Unfortunately, when it comes to your skin, there are always odd working with and against you. Things such as your skin type or acne can be dictated by genetics and is difficult to overcome some problems. I have been quite lucky with my skin, as I have normal skin type, and has always been manageable. Aside from this, I think it is safe to say that I've had my fair share of breakouts. However, there are some small ways to help your skin and since I started doing these things, I found that the regularity and amount of spots I had reduced dramatically.
(Disclaimer: I am in no way a professional, these are just rituals which have helped clear my skin and thought I could pass on the wisdom.)

Missguided, sleepmask, dreamy, ari, perfume, skin care, advice, clearer skin,

Eat well- Now I'm not saying drop everything and start pulling out the kale and spinach at every meal, but eating better foods means that you are providing your skin with the nutrients and vitamins that it needs to survive and thrive.

Stay hydrated- I'm sure you've probably heard this from everyone and their mothers by now but that just because this is so important. This will help get rid of toxins in not just you skin, but whole body. I drink at least 2 litres a day and ever since I made an effort to drink more water, I have seen a definite difference in my skin.

Exercise- being more active will help the blood flow and nourish the skin cells as the blood carries oxygen and nutrients to cells around the body.

Face masks-These are great to treat your skin and can help your skin depending on the problem      (e.g. removing oils, hydrate, etc.) I tend to use face masks a few times a week to keep my skin clean and happy.

Always take make up off before going to bed- This is a MUST. Although many people tend to hit the hay before taking all of their make up off, this becoming a habit can cause a lot of damage to your skin such as clogged pored, causing breakouts, dry skin and even wrinkles.

Have a regular skin routine- Using products for your skin morning and night, will definitely help your skin as you're cleaning and hydrating your face with a moisturiser  on a regular basis. I like to have a very simple skin routine, so I make sure that I do it everyday. You can see my skin routine here.

Get those Z's- Sleeping well is so important if you want glowing skin, As you sleep, your body boosts blood flow to the skin, giving you a healthy glow. I find that  hours of sleep is toughly what I should aim for.

Destress!- When we stress, cortisol is released which confuses our hormones and can cause breakouts. Plus, destressing should be important for your overall health. One of the ways that I like to destress is by spending an afternoon pampering myself  where I use different face masks, have bath and just have time to myself. (pamper routine post to be!)

clear skin, advice, list, how

So there you go! Those are my ways of keeping my skin as healthy and clear as possible. Just remember, everyone gets spots and know that your not alone in your struggle! Spots are a normal thing so dont be ashamed of the natural appearance of your skin. Stay beautiful!

My Skincare Routine

A regular skin care routine is one of the key secrets to getting good skin. For me, I like to keep it simple but effective. I only like to use a few products everyday, morning and evening because, let's be real, sometimes you would rather not spend hours on end trying to complete a complicated quest that is you skin routine.

Warning: Extensive floral skin care products are used (I may be just a tad obsessed!)

skin care routine, skin products, beauty, Garnier, Mario Badescu, L'oreal, Tnya Burr, Ariana Grande, fragrance, contour stick, rose water, cleansing milk, toner, face wash,

The way I like to start is by using the Garnier Rose water cleansing milk and toner by putting a bit onto a cotton pad  and sweeping it across and my face. These products I find, are a good refresher in the mornings and a useful to take of my make up in the evenings.
I wrote whole post on these products here if you'd like to see these products in detail Spoiler alert- I rather like them.

skin care routine, skin products, beauty, L'oreal, gel-cream wash, face wash, pink, fine flower, Chanel No.5, flowers,

I have recently been loving the L'oreal Rose and Jasmine face wash that they have recently released with their Fine Flower range (Of course, anything with rose in and I'll be there) wash my face with warm water, take a small amount it in my hands and massage it in circular motions into my skin. After washing it off it leaves my skin feeling super soft and cleansed.

Any good skin routine, I feel should always some kind of moisturiser for hydration to the skin. My latest obsession has been the Hydra Genius Aloe Water which I have been using as my moisturiser in my routine. After washing my face, I use one pump onto the back of my hand and gently massage it into my face keeping my skin so well hydrated.

skin care routine, skin products, beauty, moisturiser, L'oreal, aloe water,

Finally, I always finish my skincare with a few a few sprays of the Mario Badescu rose water. This is just to give my skin that little bit extra hydration and treat it to all of those wonderful benefits of rose water!

skin care routine, skin products, beauty, Mario Badescu, rose water, spray,

So that is my super simple skincare routine, which for me is easy to keep up and combines all of my favourite products at the moment. What are you favourite skincare products?

My Beauty Wishlist 2017

Unfortunately, some make up products are slightly out of budget for me but hey, a girl can dream! These are my ultimate product that are definitely on my wishlist for luxury items. This may be helpful for any of you who want to splash out a bit for a luxury beauty product but need a bit of inspiration. So without any further or do..

beauty, make up, high end, luxury, two faced, eyes, eye shadow, palette, natural love, pigment

I feel as though the Two Faced Natural Love eye palette is an obvious choice to start off with the colours are beautiful and you can create so many different eye looks. I already have the Chocolate bar eye shadow palette and if the quality of the shadows are to that one, I'm not seeing that many problems. Plus, I love a natural eye- it is just so elegant and simple. The possibilities are endless the natural love collection.

beauty, make up, high end, luxury, two faced, eyes, recommend, mascara, better than sex, good.
Keeping within the Two Faced theme, their Better than Sex mascara is one of the most well known and raved about mascaras in the beauty world. According to the reviews, it seems to have lived up to it's expectations. The mascara is meant to give immense volume 'giving a more dramatic look with each coat' so I'm quite keen tp get on this craze.

Charlotte Tilbury always has such amazing products but one that I really like the look of is the Light Wonder foundation. It is light coverage but it is buildable, and has a natural finish and also includes SPF 15 ( who's mad about a little skin protection?) It also claims to moisturise your skin and keep it hydrated for up to 18 hours. Natural with hydrating and moisturising properties? Yeah I'm interested.

beauty, make up, high end, luxury, Charlotte Tilbury, CT, contour, cheekbones, palette, brush, Filmstar Killer cheekbones,
Another product that has caught my eye was the CT Film Star Killer cheekbones contour palette. This claims to sculpt your cheekbones while also giving a 'sun kissed look'. The brush would also be the perfect shape to contour your cheekbones and the reviews on the website do not say otherwise.

beauty, make up, high end, luxury, Dior, Dior skin, powder Air luminizing, Luminizing, light, glow, natural, face, skin
The Diorskin Air Luminizing Powder is on this list, first and foremost, for a very obvious reason. It's GORGEOUS. I mean look at it! Not only this, but it is said to give a glowing complexion and is very lightweight . The pigment is meant to be amazing and illuminating, to give a natural glow. Yes please, Dior, yes please.
beauty, make up, high end, luxury, MAC, lipstick, lips, velvet teddy, shade, nude, creamy, recommend
Of course there would be a MAC lipstick on this list, I mean, theyre just a classic! The one that I reaaallllyyyy want is the shade 'Velvet Teddy'. The colour is soooo pretty and looks like a perfect shade for a nude lipstick. On top of this, loads of the reviews were raving about the creaminess of the lipstick as well as the pigmentation.

Make up, highend, luxury, skincare, Chanel, moisturiser, skin, hydration, protection, recommend, face
I have always wanted a Chanel moisturiser because the quality of the skin care is meant to be amazing.  This Hydra Beauty Crème claims to hydrate the skin all day but also protect it from free radicals. I mean, this is Chanel- I'm pretty sure this isn't going to be some bog-standard moisturiser.

I hope this has given you some inspiration when your next looking to splurge your money on something a little more glamourous! What's on your Beauty wishlist?

Utimate lip balm - Burt's Bees lip balms

Lip balm review, Burts bees, recommended, natural, vitamin E, review, beauty, skin care, lip care,
I have been on the hunt for an ultimate lip balm for sometime now. Now, I'm sure that we all have a mountain sized lip balm collection at home that we've accumulated over the years and I am no exception. However I really wanted to buy one that I would enjoy putting on and would actually help them. As of now, I am pretty certain that I found it..
When I was in Boots the other day I came across a deal for two Burt's Bees lip balms in a pack, one peppermint and one vanilla bean.
Lip balm review, packaging, Burts bees, recommended, natural, vitamin E, review, beauty, skin care, lip care, vanilla, Peppermint
The first thing that struck me about this lip balm was that it was 100% natural which will always be better for my lips. So I looked on the back to check the ingredients and it really does have all natural ingredients inside these lip balms. There have been countless times that I have looked at the back of the packaging and found words that just look like alphabet soup. This also says that it has vitamin E in it which will also benefit your lips a lot.

The peppermint lip balm I thought was a success- as soon as you open the lid, you get a huge whiff of peppermint so we're already off to a good start. The colour of the lip balm was an off-white (again, very natural looking) and the packaging was super cute, resembling a beehive.
Putting it on, The lip balm was super moisturising with a very prominent flavour of peppermint which made your lips tingle afterwards. The texture was very smooth and was very easy to apply with both lip balms.
The second one was the vanilla bean lip balm which smelled like cake (only my favourite scent EVER). The formula was very similar to the peppermint lip balm, apart from that it did not leave a tingling sensation on you lips, just kept them very moisturised.

I am so happy that I finally found some good simple lip balms. I feel as though they've already done my lips a world of good. What is your go to lip balm?

No.7 lip glosses and balms

No.7 lip glosses and lip balm lip gloss high shine moisturising tinted pink natural
Lip glosses are making a major comeback in 2017 and I am living for it! Something about shiny lips seems so refreshing and feminine, complementing my personal style beautifully. To celebrate the resurrection of the lip gloss, I thought I would make it my mission to find nice new one. To my excitement, I found that No.7 in Boots was doing a 3for2 on their range of lip gloss and lip balms- literally sent from the heavens into my lip gloss deprived hands.
No.7 lip glosses and lip balm lip gloss high shine clear moisturising tinted pink natural
The first lip gloss is very simple and is just nice for some shine on your lips when wearing more natural make up. This lip gloss has yet to disappoint. It is easy to apply and is not tacky on my lips at all. It is a product that I find myself reaching for a lot recently.

No.7 lip glosses and lip balm lip gloss high shine sparkly moisturising tinted pink natural
Again, this lip gloss is another fabulous buy- super moisturising and give a pink glittery look that I love. My favourite thing about these products is that they are very subtle but they look gorgeous on.

No.7 lip glosses and tinted lip balm high shine Parisian pink moisturising tinted pink natural

The last one I bought was an INCREDIBLE lip balm which is tinted in a rosy pink shade called 'Parisian Pink' (*sigh). All of the lip balms are super moisturising and make your lips feel like clouds. I wear this very often as its so easy and looks very natural, but still giving that you lips that chic girly look.

(Top to bottom- order of mention)
Like I said before they are very subtle but are so beautiful. I hope you'll give them a try because I would 100% would recommend.
